Killrust Metal-Prep is an inhibited phosphoric acid-based metal conditioner for cleaning and conditioning metal surfaces prior to painting. When applied to a lightly rusted surface, its chemical action results in grey deposits of insoluble iron phosphate on the surface. This will assist subsequent paint coatings in inhibiting corrosion.
